Account Director, Digital (UK)

Fight or Flight is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Account Director specialising in digital strategy to join our rapidly growing UK team.

We need someone who can lead social and content strategies for global B2B brands, knows their way around paid social campaigns, and is excited about what AI means for our industry. You’ll work with brilliant clients, a creative and comms team that actually gets digital, and help shape how we grow.

About Fight or Flight:

Fight or Flight is a fast-growing integrated communications agency that helps B2B brands deliver greater business impact. Our services include everything from media relations, social media, content creation, research and insights, sustainability advisory, to account-based marketing.

Our UK-based Fight or Flighters (“Foffers” for short) typically work both from home and in the office, aiming to be in the office together two days a week. However, we don’t want this to stop us from looking at talent across the UK, so have a few “Foffers” who work remotely and come together regularly as a team from across the country for in-person meet-ups.

At Fight or Flight, you would be:

  • • Build social and content strategies for B2B clients from household names to scaleups, working with our AI and GEO team
  • • Run organic and paid social campaigns across channels, manage budgets, report on what’s working
  • • Advise senior clients on building authority and getting found by AI search and LLMs
  • • Own client relationships, helping them navigate digital innovation without the buzzwords
  • • Lead content production with designers and copywriters to create thumb-stopping work for B2B audiences
  • • Develop thought leadership programs, including social selling strategies for execs
  • • Work with our GEO team to optimize content for traditional search and AI discovery
  • • Test new things — AI content tools, emerging platforms, formats that keep clients ahead
  • • Manage and mentor team members, training junior staff on social and content best practices

What we’re looking for:

  • • 7-8 years in digital media (agency or in-house), with real wins in B2B social and content strategy
  • • Hands-on with paid social — budget management, campaign optimisation, reporting on results
  • • Big picture thinking meets execution — you can shape strategy and get stuck into the work
  • • Experience building brands from scratch, especially startups, scale-ups, and challenger brands
  • • Confident advising senior clients on personal branding, social selling, and thought leadership
  • • Curious about AI and emerging tech — how LLMs and new platforms are changing the game
  • • Comfortable presenting to C-suite, defending creative decisions with data and conviction
  • • Used to integrated campaigns where digital, content, and earned media work together
  • • Thrive in a fast-paced environment where the best ideas win, regardless of who has them

The annual UK salary for this role is: £55k-60k

An employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will be determined by factors including location, experience, qualifications and expertise.
