Account Director, Digital (North America)
Fight or Flight is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Account Director specializing in digital media to join our rapidly growing North America team.

About Fight or Flight:
Fight or Flight is a fast-growing integrated communications agency that helps B2B brands deliver greater business impact. Our services include everything from media relations, social media, content creation, research and insights, sustainability advisory, to account-based marketing.
Our NA-based Fight or Flighters (“Foffers” for short) typically work from home. Although we are remote-first, we come together regularly as a team from across the country for in-person meet-ups.
At Fight or Flight, you would be:
• Developing and delivering creative digital campaigns for clients ranging from household name brands to scaleups, working with planners and strategists
• Delivering organic and paid social campaigns and copy across multiple channels and report results
• Providing day-to-day digital/social media strategy and advice to brands
• Managing organic social media on behalf of clients
• Social media monitoring and listening (e.g. using tools like Sprout Social)
• Managing designers and content creators
• Developing and managing influencer programs, working directly with influencers and talent
• Scaling into areas such as SEO/SEM and media buying (and working with specialist agencies)
• Directly speaking and partnering with clients, providing sound counsel around digital media strategies and tactics
• Managing and mentoring team members, including training junior staff in digital media best practices
• Playing a role in new business pitches
What we’re looking for:
• A passion for developing effective digital/social media strategy for B2B brands
• A minimum of 7-8 years of social media experience, either agency or in-house (note: you do not need to have B2B experience)
• A strong client counsellor – someone who is comfortable counselling clients, with experience serving as a key client contact in previous roles
• Someone with experience working with startups/scaleup/challenger brands and building a following from the ground up
• Someone experienced working with leadership or SMEs on social media profile building/personal branding
• Community management experience
• An ability to switch easily between providing high-level strategy to senior clients and getting your hands dirty with execution
• A confident multi-tasker who is excited and motivated working in a fast-paced environment
• Someone who is comfortable working in a flat-structured, meritocratic environment

The annual US salary range for this role is: $110,000 – $130,000.
Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will be determined by factors including location, experience, qualifications and expertise.
