Fight or Flight is a fast-growing integrated communications agency that helps B2B brands deliver greater business impact. Our services include everything from media relations, social media, content creation, research and insights, sustainability advisory, to account-based marketing. Our NA-based Fight or Flighters (“Foffers” for short) typically work from home. Although we are remote-first, we come together regularly as a team from across the country for in-person meet-ups.

THE ROLE

As our Senior Designer, you’ll be the creative engine behind the visual identity of our agency and our clients. From campaign decks and press materials to social content and brand activations, you’ll translate big ideas into stunning visuals that stop people mid-scroll. You’ll collaborate closely with our PR, strategy, and account teams — and you’ll often be the last line of creative defense before something goes out the door.

This is a remote role open to candidates based in Canada or Mexico and working in the Eastern Time timezone.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead visual design across client campaigns, pitches, and press materials

• Create on-brand assets for digital, print, social, and experiential channels

• Develop and maintain brand identity systems for agency clients

• Design presentation decks, media kits, one-pagers, and reports that are as beautiful as they are functional

• Collaborate with global PR and strategy teams to translate messaging into compelling visuals for infographics and other collateral

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering polished work on tight timelines

• Mentor other design staff and freelancers where applicable, and work closely with our Global Art Director to deliver creative excellence and design output

• Contribute to the Fight or Flight brand through internal marketing and agency materials

WHAT YOU BRING

• 7-10+ years of graphic design experience, ideally within a PR, marketing, or creative agency environment

• An exceptional portfolio demonstrating range across branding, digital, and social design

• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma (desired but not essential)

• Strong understanding of typography, layout, colour theory, and visual storytelling

• Experience designing for social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X)

• Ability to manage competing deadlines without sacrificing quality

• Sharp communication skills — you can articulate your creative decisions with confidence

• Self-directed and highly organized, with the ability to thrive in a remote-first environment

• Must be located in either Canada or Mexico and available during Eastern Time business hours – fluent English language proficiency essential

• Motion graphics or video editing experience (After Effects, Premiere Pro)

• Experience with HTML/CSS or web design fundamentals

• Photography or art direction experience
