Data from Lightspeed Commerce showed that eating alone, once something to be dreaded, is the new dining trend. We could have just sent out the press release with the stats.
But where’s the fun in that?
Instead, we brought to life how restaurateurs can capitalize on the solo dining explosion by partnering with ultra hip vegan spot (and Lightspeed customer) Avant Garden to curate a special Table for One experience, where we celebrated solo diners with an exclusive set menu experience.
The results? Nationwide coverage in the likes of the New York Post, AP, Time Magazine, CBS, and Fox. And by inviting food influencers to experience the table for themselves, Over 1.3m reached on social channels and an 86% uptick in sales leads for Lightspeed.
